Brief Introduction to Falun Dafa
Falun Dafa (also called Falun Gong) is an advanced practice of Buddha school self-cultivation, founded by Mr. Li Hongzhi, the practice’s master. It is a discipline in which “assimilation to the highest qualities of the universe—Zhen, Shan, Ren (Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance)—is the foundation of practice. Practice is guided by these supreme qualities, and based on the very laws which underlie the development of the cosmos.” Master Li’s teachings are set forth in a number of texts, among which are included Falun Gong, Zhuan Falun, The Great Perfection Way of Falun Dafa, Essentials for Further Advancement, and Hong Yin (The Grand Verses). Why is Falun Dafa persecuted in China?
The complex rationale behind the persecution can be broken into four elements: a paranoid dictator’s fear of Falun Gong’s meteoric growth and soaring popularity; that same dictator’s intense jealousy of Falun Dafa’s popularity; the inherent conflict between the communist regime’s savage political ideology and its polar opposite–Falun Dafa’s principles of Truthfulness, Benevolence, Forbearance; and the very nature of communism, which to sustain itself requires periodically labeling a small segment of the population as the “class enemy” to “struggle” against. Organ Harvesting Overview
Mounting evidence tells a terrible tale of murder and mutilation in China. Witnesses and Chinese physicians reveal that thousands of persons affiliated with the Falun Gong are being killed for their organs, which are sold and transplanted at enormous profit.
The kidneys, livers, and hearts are often sold on demand to overseas patients, who can afford them. That is, the prisoners of conscience are tissue typed and then killed once a matching recipient is found for their organs.
The perpetrators are officials of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), acting in cahoots with surgeons, prison authorities, and military officials.

Torture
In modern China under the rule of the Communist Party, torture is a routine component of law-enforcement and punishment. Indeed, there are laws prohibiting torture on the books, but these exist for the most part to create a facade of civilization and “rule of law” for the benefit of the West.
Anyone who is arrested in China for any reason is at risk of being tortured (with beating being the most common form), but those most at risk are individuals such as Falun Gong practitioners who have been declared enemies of the state. When Jiang Zemin issued his famous edict, “It is not a crime to beat a Falun Gong practitioner to death. If a Falun Gong practitioner is beaten to death, it is counted as a suicide.”– the police knew what it was they were supposed to do.
